Last night, Palin tried some appreciation in her interview with "toughie" Katie Couric on the CBS Evening News. Unfortunately, despite being asked three times to name any specific newspapers or magazines she reads, Palin is unable to name even one that reads regularly or relies upon to help her shape her world view.
Does Gov. Palin not even read her home town Anchorage Daily News? Or does she not want to say that her key reading list includes the right-wing magazines published with the support of major right-wing foundations, such as American Spectator, Or, does she not wish to reference her reliance upon the American Opinion (which sits in front of her here) , which is a publication of the John Birch Society?COURIC: And when it comes to establishing your world view, I was curious, what newspapers and magazines did you regularly read before you were tapped for this — to stay informed and to understand the world?
PALIN: I’ve read most of them again with a great appreciation for the press, for the media —
COURIC: But what ones specifically? I’m curious.
PALIN: Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years.
COURIC: Can you name any of them?
PALIN: I have a vast variety of sources where we get our news.
(If you've got the updated Flash player, you can watch it here; if not, you'd need to download the updated player.)
Or does she not read significant news or opinion publications at all? And is it "I" or "we" in that last sentence?

On another note; if McCain-Palin are elected, don't say they didn't warn you!
